This standard covers the straight nylon tubes mainly used for the tubing in the air braking and air suspension systems of automobiles. (hereinafter referred to as the “Tubes”) This standard is applicable in the working conditions shown in Table 1.

This standard should apply molded tubes (bent or in special shapes) in terms of the basic specifications (nylon materials, tube performance, and tube inside and outside diameters etc.)
